He died this morning. Dad saw him lifeless at around 8:15. Mom said he hasn't been standing since Sunday. He probably felt really sick already. He barely moved since that day. I last stopped by his cage last Sunday, called him, and only his sad brown eyes looked at me. Should've known it was a sign. Should've stopped by his cage every morning for his last few days. I was in a hurry this morning I didn't even glance. I will miss Stanley, I miss him already.
Stanley is a rottweiler. A loving, playful, and sweet rott.
At last, we had a chance to see each other this year, the day after my birthday. Time was too short for all the catching up. It was as if nothing changed.Except that, we're going to have a baby. Yes, we. Joyce and I will be the ninangs (godmother) to Matthew. I saw a 4D ultrasound of his face, and boy, is he gwapo! Only a few more days of waiting until we see Matt. :-)
I am a beach bum. I can go to the beach anytime and anywhere. I have travelled to quite a number of beaches here in the Philippines, but none abroad. I wonder if other beaches are as beautiful as ours.
I am dreaming of seeing the beaches in Europe. I want to go on a holiday in Portugal and see their beaches. I want to try swimming at the Atlantic Ocean. I wonder how the beach in Porto Santo Island compares to Boracay?
I will definitely be needed a cheap car hire Portugal to go around. If and when I get there, I think I want to stay in Hotel Sao Jose. It looks good in the pictures!
It's funny how Alexa blame parts of her body when she does something wrong. It's her hands this time.
Alexa: Mom, she pushed me!
Nicole: Why did you push her?
Alexa: It's not me mom, it's my hand. They're forcing me to do it.
O di ba?
Imagine getting a busted car air conditioning in the middle of summer. On the way to the beach, during the long drive, and in the middle of traffic, the car air conditioning got busted. We can’t wait to get to the beach immediately because of the heat! Good thing, summer just ended here in the Philippines.
Since then, we learned our lesson. We always have the car checked before any long travel. We had the car repaired and gave it a diesel turbocharger. The car was in tip top shape and the air conditioning fail anymore. We now enjoy our long drive and trip from start to finish.
We had the first sight of sunshine after 7 days of rain. I hope it doesn't rain again soon.

Some more Alexa antics.
For some reason, Alexa loves cleaning the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. Not her kalat, not her toys, but the bathroom.
She once, cleaned the bathroom sink using toilet paper and Bath and Body liquid soap. Magastos! And she voluntarily cleaned their toothbrushes by soaking them in soapy water. How much cleaner can you get?! Hehe.
Not monkey business, of course.
I want to start my own business to help the family. I don't know any good business to start and I don't have the capital. I think I need to look for a company that can provide small business loans.
Do you know any?

I received it as a gift. I got curious. And now, I love their products so much. =)
They're organic.
They're healthy.
They're Earth-friendly.
And most importantly, the products are very affordable.
Visit the shop here and let me know if you are interested in any.
May is the start of birthday season. May kicks off a lot of birthday celebrations. I have three five friends who’s birthday is in May, three in June, two in July, another in August, and so on. I definitely have a lot of parties to go to and also a lot of gift buying to do – which is a tough job too. ;)
First option is to go to the mall. But with sale events left and right, it makes it tasking to go to the mall and find the perfect gift. So I went to my second option – online shopping. I now have a website I often go to, especially when I am having a hard time thinking of the perfect present. It was then easy for me to find my friends. I found a lot of items on Magic The Gathering, board games, movies and other toys and collectibles.

My dad calls Alexa Pachuchay and I don't know why. All I know is that our baby has grown up. She is now taking Kumon, singing and dancing classes. She will start formal school in September already. Hopefully she will get a slot at Walt Disney Elementary School in Anaheim so that she can go visit us here in Manila in June 2010. I can't wait!

The weather is very unpredictable lately. Rains most of the time and gets warm all of a sudden. Weather makes me want to go to Baguio and enjoy the cold weather. There are a lot of nice places in Baguio with warm and cozy fireplaces. Warm and cozy, those are some of the words that come to mind when I hear rustic furniture which are a lot in Baguio. I’m dreaming of Baguio right now...
Yesterday was not good either. I went home with tummy ache I have not experienced since 4 years ago. I think my mild GERD is back and it is due to stress.
Today isn't a good day still. Tummy is not back to normal. Therefore, no coffee nor tea nor juices allowed for me.
And, I miss my baby.
During my college days, I had set my mind on getting my dream house by the age of thirty. I am now thirty, turning thirty-one in one month and still without my dream house. I realize that lack of money is not the only reason I want to be sure that I bought the right house because buying a house is a major investment.
Now that I am preparing to buy my house I am considering a lot of things. I am doing my homework. I talk to friends and ask for their opinions. I read magazines about houses. I search the web for useful and helpful articles. I saw several blog posts and articles such as “steps in buying a house”.
Basically the article says what I should be doing first, up to the last step like – getting my key to the house. The article was very helpful especially to a newbie like me who has never owned a major investment. I didn’t think that there should be contingency plans and all. I hope that through this article, and with the right bank to finance this major investment, I will finally be able to buy my dream house in two years time tops.
I love Everyday Minerals.
After the swelling of the face in 2003 because of the Maybelline eye cream, I had no choice but to use Clinique make ups only. But Clinique was way too expensive. So, I stopped using make up.
Until mineral make up was invented and I discovered Everyday Minerals. First tried out the FREE sample kit. I instantly loved it and not just because it was for free. ;)
Now, I will be trying to put on eye shadows again. I just purchased this Sand Castle kit for only $10! Hope I still remember how to put them and not overwhelm my face with make up. :)
